Challenge:

247 blinds are one of the UK’s leading suppliers of blinds. They needed to find a competitive advantage to win against established competitors like Argos and Dunelm. This was the first TV advert for 247 Blinds and with a modest budget, the brand wanted to raise brand awareness and stand out in a crowded market.

Outcome and my role:

The ad told the story of a house cat, because who knows blinds better than someone who spends all day looking through them?

Delivering a DRTV message whilst also building a brand character, meant bringing our cat to life as the connoisseur of all things blinds. The cat shows his owner Jim just how easy it is to order and install his blinds using 247 Blinds’ made-to-measure service, landing 247 Blinds’ new brand messaging of “Everything clicks into place”.

My role included from concepting, scamps, moodboards and storyboards and eventually assisting on a shoot, I was involved in the project from the beginning till the final result to build the first TV campaign for 247 Blinds (as well as it was a first TV advert for the agency).

Results:

This project was successfully launched with DRTV, with results such as:
 

an increase in market share;

58% Increase in organic revenue;

21% Increase in paid search ROAS.
